Mohammed Akhtar
Mohammed began studying Wing
Chun in 1989 and qualified as an instructor in 2001 with the Midlands Wing Chun
Kuen. He has studied Wing Chun, both privately and at classes, with Sifu
Rawcliffe and has attended many seminars given by his Si Gung, Ip Chun at the
MWCK.
In August 2004 Mohammed
accompanied Sifu Rawcliffe to Hong Kong to attend Master Ip Chun's 80th
birthday celebration. There he had the opportunity to practice Wing Chun with
Master Ip Chun and Master Ip Chun's senior students.
Mohammed is a certified
instructor with the MWCK and holds a level 2 coaching award from the British
Council for Chinese Martial Arts, he is also a member of the Wing Chun Ip Chun
Academy in Hong Kong . For more information see the
